Born and raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, JP Bonino started his career photographing punk rock shows, learning photography from his father. His creative work spans across various fields: from skateboarding, fashion shoots, and exhibitions in cities like Buenos Aires, London, Paris, and Barcelona, where he currently lives. His photography captures intense, sometimes contradictory emotions, blending everyday situations with theatricality.
Bonino's perceptiveness and versatility have led him to work with major brands like Nike, Dropbox, Coca-Cola, and Converse, as well as shoot campaigns for fashion labels such as Lee, Levi’s, Lacoste, and Paloma Wool. His editorial work has appeared in prominent magazines like Tank, I-D, and Office NY.
