Thompson’s approach is deeply immersive, allowing his subjects to inhabit the space naturally while capturing an authenticity that feels both intimate and sculptural. His meticulous attention to detail and refined sense of composition gives his images a depth and sophistication that recall the visual language of iconic fashion imagery.
His work has been exhibited in New York, London, Milan, and Berlin, and was recently acquired for the permanent collection of the museum of avant-garde in Geneva, curated by William Klein.
Beyond photography, Thompson’s work in film explores movement, narrative, and emotional depth. His films exist at the intersection of fashion, portraiture, and storytelling, unfolding in a way that feels both instinctive and highly composed.
His moving image work has been recognized at the Berlin fashion film festival, fashion film festival Milano, and the British fashion council.
